Serial Communication User Manual
Reference for the binary command protocol shared by every standard Redler / RayonDrive motion-drive build: how a message is framed, parsed and answered on the wire, and every generic command, sub-index, unit and status bitmap the firmware exposes.

Frame overview
Every parameter on the drive is addressed by a command number (0–150, the index into the firmware's internal dispatch table) and a sub-index (0–63) that selects one field within that command — written as command[sub-index] , e.g. 33[1] for “command 33, sub-index 1”. Every message is one of two directions:
Every request the drive accepts is echoed back with the resulting value (a “GET” naturally answers with the value being read; a “SET” is echoed back with the value that was actually applied, letting the host confirm what stuck — e.g. after clamping). If the command is rejected, the reply is redirected to a dedicated error command instead — see Errors & CRC .
